2014 SRT Viper Gran Touring Package Revealed in Stryker Green


SRT has unveiled the new Stryker Green paint for the Viper GTS which is said to be inspired by the iconic Snakeskin Green from 2008. The new color will be available for customers who opt for the newly introduced Grand Touring package. The latter includes some interior and handling tweaks like the standard Nappa leather seats, five different modes for the stability control and a two-mode Bilstein damper system.

For those who are wondering if the fan-named "Competition Blue" color will be available with the Grand Touring package, you won't be served. The Grand Touring package is only available in the new Stryker Green color or in Venom Black. More pictures and details in the press release after the jump.

This is the strangest and saddest car video you will see this week. This video of Dodge Viper that seems perfectly fine from the outside being smashed by a claw is now buzzing on the internet. No body knows why the V10 powered car deserved this treatment but we'll keep you updated once we find out more...

2014 SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon Special Edition [Photo gallery]


If you were not a fan of the "Competition Blue" SRT Viper, maybe you will like the Anodized Carbon Special Edition Package. Just like the competition blue, the paint scheme of the car is yet to be named. This special edition is limited to 50 units and it features purely aesthetic changes.

The car rides on unique black chrome wheels while the brake calipers are painted in bright-orange. The interior receives the same attention with the extensive use of quality materials like Alcantara and Nappa leather as well as the carbon fiber trim.

The car will make its debut at the LA Motor Show and pricing is yet to be announed. More high res pictures in the gallery below and more details in the press release after the jump..


SRT Viper Venom 700R by Hennessey Performance [VIDEO]


Hennessey Performance started test driving its 700R tuning package for the SRT Viper and the first official numbers are out. The 8.4-liter V10 now produces 705 Hp and an outstanding 941 Nm of torque. That allows the car to sprint from 0 to 60 mph 3.1 Seconds with a quarter mile time of 10.7 seconds at 215 km/h (134 mph). The car keeps accelerating until it reaches its top speed of 347 km/h (216 mph).

Aesthetically, Hennessey also offers some customizing options (that are not all featured in this video) like monoblock wheels, carbon fiber interior trim and a custom painted stripe.Video after the jump.
 New SRT Viper Images Released And Pricing Announced


The last piece of the puzzle surrounding the 2013 SRT Viper's launch is in place. We finally know how much it'll cost you to have that beauty in your garage. Pricing starts from $97,395 for the standard SRT Viper and the more high tech version, the Viper GTS, will cost $120,395. Power comes from a 8.4-Liter V10 with an output of 640 Hp for both versions.



To celebrate the occasion, SRT released plenty of high res pictures so that we can admire the curvy beast in both yellow and blue.

Unveiled: SRT Viper GTS


With its iconic blue livery and its dual white stripes, the Viper GTS is back and it looks absolutely stunning! The 2013 SRT Viper is powered by a naturally aspirated 8.4-liter V10 developing 640 Hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. The Viper GTS features five-spoke polished forged-aluminum wheels that used to give the Viper its unique appearence. The 2013 SRT Viper GTS will be displayed to the public this weekend in Monterey. New SRT Viper based Race Car Revealed


Along with its gorgeous new Viper, SRT unveiled the racing variant of the lastest American supercar. The SRT Vipder Race car will compete in different racing series including the American Le Mans. It looks beastly on the track!
