2014 DACIA 1300 Design Study by Alexandru Maris [VIDEO]

Car designer Alexandru Maris from Romania came up with a modern interpretation of the Dacia 1300 model that was produced from 1969 to 2004. But unlike the original Dacia 1300, Alexandru's design study is intended to be a luxury big size four door coupe that competes with the likes of the Merdeces-Benz CLS and the Porsche Panamera. He even went on to imagine the power train which would be a hybrid one comprised of a V8 engine and an electric motor.

It's nice to see that Dacia is getting some love from a talented car designer like Alexandru. But to make things clear, this design study remains the pure imagination of the Romanian designer and has nothing to do with Renault owned automaker's future plans. More pictures and video after the jump.

Nissan Kaze Concept by Carlos Palacios

Carlos Palacios from Barcelona came up with the Nissan "Kaze" concept (Kaze means Wind, breeze, gale, gust in Japanese). Just like the Aston Martin CC100 one off, this concept is a modern interpretation of the topless race cars from the 40's. Carlos imagines his creation as a track day car with a rear mid mounted 6.5L V12. It would be nice if Nissan comes up with something similar but we know that Nissan's idea of a pure driving machine is totally different at the moment: Bladeglider.

You will find more pictures of this beautifully sculpted creature after the jump.

Lamborghini Huracan LP650-4 Superleggera Imagined

The Lamborghini Huracan was freshly unveiled this morning but it didn't take the guys at Lambocars.com too much time to offer us a preview of what the hotter, track focused Suppeleggera version could look like. And they came up with the LP650-4 Superleggera, which suggests that it might produce as much as 650 Hp. Which sounds okay since the new Huracan produces 610 Hp which is 38 Hp more than the Murciélago when it first came out...

Ferrari CascoRosso Concept by Dejan Hristov

Designed by Dejan Hristov

Just like Alex Imnadze, Samir Sadikhov and many others, Dejan Hristov came up with a stunning concept that most of us would like to see on the road. Dubbed CascoRosso, his new concept is a possible successor for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Dejan imagines the F12's successor as a hybrid front engined super car inspired by the iconic 250 GTO. More renderings after the jump.

Mustang Mach 1 Rendered based on the 2015 Mustang

Illustrated by David Kiss for Top Speed

Based on the first official pictures, rendering artist David Kiss imagined a Mach 1 version of the 2015 Mustang for Top Speed. And while some people found the 2015 Mustang too soft for a muscle car, I don't think anyone is going to complain about the looks of this one. Even though a Mach 1 version is just a rumor, the guys at Top Speed suggest that it would slot between the Mustang GT variant and any upcoming Shelby edition.

Here are the renderings and the original pictures if you'd like to play the differences game.

2023 Lamborghini Diamante Concept by Thomas Granjard

Designed by Thomas Granjard

Designed by Thomas Granjard's as his Final year degree project at the Coventry University, the Lamborghini Diamante is a beautiful hint at the future. Even though we can spot some similarities with the Lamborghini Veneno hypercar, the Diamante has its own personality and we would be glad to see something similar on the road!

We really urge you to drop by Thomas' blog to see more stunning sketches of his design and read the full story in his own words.

1957 Maserati 250S Revival Imagined

Rendering by Frederik Tjellesen

The Maserati 250S is a very beautiful and unique race car of which only four examples were ever built. It was powered by a 2.5-litre four cylinder engine producing 235 Hp and sending power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The 250S was raced by legendary drivers like Hall and Shelby back in the 50's.

Talented rendering artist Frederik Tjellesen wanted to imagine what a modern interpretation of the topless racer would look like. And he came up with this sexy speedster. It could be interesting to see a similar car from Maserati as a response to Aston Martin's stunning CC100 concept!

Lamborghini Cabrera Rendered Again

Best looking rendering yet...

The Lamborghini Gallardo's successor has been busy testing on the Nürburgring lately. Which means that the unveiling is very imminent. Based on the latest spy shots taken of the heavily camouflaged prototype, Dutch rendering artist Marco Van Overbeeke released this magnicient illustration of what the upcoming raging bull might look like.

We think that this is one of the best renderings released so far. And we will be happy if the real deal turns out to be just like this.

BMW M2 Imagined by DSM Car Design

Rendering by DSM CarDesign

The BMW M2 has not been confirmed yet by BMW but fans of the previous 1M coupe already started to wonder what the car might look like. This rendering by DSM Car Design illustrates a possible look for the future sporty coupe. BMW already offers a powerful 235i version of the 2-series but the sportier M badged version could be produced in small numbers just like the 1M coupé.
2015 Mustang Rendered by Car & Driver

Rendering by Car & Driver

Car and Driver released a 360 degrees rendering of what will be "almost definitely" the new 2015 Ford Mustang. And we really love the result!

The 2015 Mustang will be available with a 3.7-liter V6 producing 307 Hp and a 5.0-liter V8 producing 420 ch, just like the current model. Customers will have the choice between a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

2014 Corvette C7 Super GT Illustrated by Iacoski

We've already featured some illustrations by Jacek Kolodziejczyk from Iacoski design like the BMW F30 M3 Coupe which was largely appreciated by our readers. This time Jacek strikes back with an illustration of a track-ready version of the recently unveiled Corvette C7 Stingray. The designer took inspiration from the the Japan Super GT Championship beasts. And we really love the result!

I you liked Iacoski's Super GT Corvette C7, maybe you should check out Jonsibal's Corvette C7R. The two artists went in two different directions when creating their designs but one thing is sure, we love them both and we would like to see those machines on the race track one day!

Corvette C7R Race Car Illustration By Jonsibal

Jonsibal, one of the most successful speculative rendering artists on the internet, revealed an illustration of what the Corvette C7R race car might look like. The illustration is based on pictures of the new Corvette C7 Stingray, freshly revealed at the Detroit Auto Show last weekend. We hope that it won't take Chevrolet too much time before they introduce the C7R race car. And it'll be just fine for us if it looked exactly like the one pictured above.
Pick of The Day: Porsche 959 Moby-Dick by Tuninger

Our creativity pick of the day goes to Tuninger for creating this awesome illustration of a modified version of our well loved Porsche 959 dubbed "Moby-Dick". Unfortunately Sahin Igor's drawing is only based on a rear quarter photo of the German supercar. So we won't be able to see how it looks from other angles. But we really appreciate the effort. And the result reminds us of the Porsche race cars from the 70's which is a good thing!
BMW M4 Coupe Illustration

Credits: BimmerPost

Based on the latest pictures of the new 4-series Coupé Concept released by BMW, the guys at Bimmerpost made this illustration of the upcoming M4 (F82) Coupe. Judging by the spy shots posted on the same site, we doubt that the future M4 will be much much from the one pictured above. And we're okay with that!

As a reminder, the M4 will be powered by turbocharged inline-six engine developing nearly as much power as the naturally aspirated V8 in the M3 E92 but with an extra 135 Nm (100 lb ft). The 6-speed manual transmission is still part of the package and that makes us really happy!

New Dodge Viper Rendering by JONSIBAL

This is the new Dodge Viper rendering by the talented rendering artist JONSIBAL. I'm already a 100% fan of the new Viper. But i really hope those Maserati Gran Turismo-like tail lights won't be part of the real deal.
