Chevrolet unveils its Track Focused Camaro Z28 in New York

Chevrolet unveiled the Z/28 track focused version of its Camaro muscle car at the New York Motor Show. Besides featuring some very welcome aesthetic enhancements, the car is now powered by the 7.0-Liter LS7 from the Z06 Corvette producing more than 500 Hp and 640 Nm of torque.

The Z/28 is 45 Kilograms lighter than the already fit Camaro SS. Visual enhancements also include a redesigned front and rear bumber, a new front splitter, a vented front hood as well as new side skirts. More pictures of the beauty in the gallery below.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS by RK Motors Charlotte

Today we've picked for you this insane 1969 Camaro SS customized by North Carolina based tuning company RK Motors. It is based on an original 1969 Camaro body and features high performance parts and quality material that make it a very unique car. Every single detail has been reworked and the attention to detail is just amazing.

The car is powered by a 502 Cubic inch (8.2-liter) GM Performance Parts engine producing 700 Hp sending power to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO600 5-Speed manual transmission. It features a HPC true dual exhaust system and under the bonnet lies a radiator and a small polished cap to provide cooling with style. The Camaro rides on Boyd Coddington Spires wheels and the brakes are provided by Wilwood.

Whether it's from the exterior or the interior, this Custom Camaro SS is a true piece of art. We particularly love the shaved mirrors and door handles that allow us to appreciate the beautifully sculpted body.



The car is now on sale for the amount $219,000. But judging by the amount of work done and all the performance parts installed and the decent muscle car look, we can understand such a high price tag for this very unique car. Chevrolet Camaro with DiFalco Front Grille by Forgiato

Wheel specialist Forgiato introduced this incredible custom Camaro to showcase its DiFalco front grille that incorporates the hidden headlights that were part of the earlier Camaro models. The motorized headlight covers also include 18 daylight LEDs each one, which give the muscle car a very distinguished look.

Pick of the Day: Chevrolet Camaro with "Guyver" widebody kit by Chrome and Carbon

This is what we would call a Camaro on steroids. The Dubai based company Chrome & Carbon came up with this impressive "Guyver" bodykit for the American muscle car and we have to admit that we love the result. Even if it seems more form than function... We have no idea what kind of changes have been made under the bonnet but we hope this Camaro has the power plant that goes with the beastly look. Paris 2012: Chevrolet Code 130R Concept
