Bentley Continental GT3 at the 12 Hours Of Dubai [VIDEO]

We've already reported that the Bentley Continental GT3 finished 4th in its first motorsport outing at the Gulf 12 Hours of Dubai and now Bentley have released this nice clip to highlight the achievement. Of course, the best is yet to come with the race car officially entering the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series which starts next April 12th, 2014.

The Bentley Continental GT3 Finishes 4th at The 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi

What better practice for the brand new Bentley Continental GT3 race car than a 12 Hours race at the Beautiful Yas Marina Circuit in Dubai? The British race car did pretty well during its racing debut with Guy Smith, Steven Kane and Andy Meyrick at the wheel. The three drivers secured a solid fourth place which Bentley believes is very good result for a car that is still under development.

The Continental GT3 will be entering the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series which starts on April 12. Here's a beautiful set of high res pictures released by Bentley for the occasion.

Bentley Reveals Driver Lineup For its GT3 Racing Comeback

The Beautiful Bentley Continental GT3 race car unveiled last year at the Paris Motor Show will finally make its racing debut at the Abu Dhabi 12 Hours at the Yas Marina F1 Circuit on December 13th. The drivier's lineup has also been confirmed with Steven Kane, Guy Smith and Andy Meyrick (left to right).

The three British drivers already have competeted in several endurance events especially Guy Smith who drove the Le Mans winning Bentley Speed 8 back in 2003. More pictures of the 600 Hp British racer in the gallery below.

Pick of the Day: Bentley GTX by Onyx Concept

Onyx Concept introduced its Bentley Continental V8 based tuning project. The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine has been pushed to 600 Hp and some aesthetic changes have been applied, including a heavily modified front and rear bumpers, a new hood with carbon fiber trim, side skirts, extended wheel arches, day time LEDs, square exhaust pipes and huge 22-inch forged wheels. The new Bentley Continental GT looks Gorgeous in any Color You like

The Bentley Continental GT is one of those cars who have not taken a single wrinkle during its eights years on the market. However it's time for a replacement to take over. The new Bentley luxury coupe is powered by a 6-Liter twin turbo W12 engine producing 567 Hp that allows it to do the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 4.4 seconds despite its heavy weight. Thanks to its smooth body, the new Continental GT can reach a top speed of 318 Km/h (198 mph). Also, there's an optional 4.0-Liter V8 engine that will be available starting from next year. The new Continental GT is priced at 190,000 $, 8,000$ more than the old model but it offers more power, more luxury and a new beautifully sculpted body that you can contemplate in the gallery below.
