Aston Martin has updated its successful Aston Martin GT4 racer that debuted two years ago for the 2011 season. The V8 powered Vantage racer of which 80 units have already been sold will benefit from important engine upgrades as well as a new improved aero package inspired from the road going V12 vantage. The Aston Martin Racing engineers have specifically worked on improving the cooling air channelling and increasing the down force.

Unfortunately, Aston Martin did not release specific numbers concerning the 4.7-liter V8 power and torque rates. Further updates are the new racing ABS and TCS developped by BOSH Motorsport. It's a good race car that just got better. More pictures of the beautiful racer in the gallery below.
