Mopar Introduces the New SCAT Package for The Challenger, Charger and Dart

Mopar introduced the SCAT Package for the Challenger, Charger and Dart models. The package includes some important performance upgrades as well as some exterior and interior customization bits in addition to the black and red livery.

The Challenger and Charger models will share the same SCAT package with the same power figures:

SCAT PACKAGE 1 5.7-liter
* "Optimized" engine calibration – tailored to Scat Package 1
* Mopar cold air intake
* Mopar cat-back exhaust
* Scat Package 1 badge

SCAT PACKAGE 2 5.7-liter
* Adds:
* "Optimized" engine calibration – tailored to Scat Package 2
* Mopar performance camshaft
* Scat Package 2 badge

SCAT PACKAGE 3 5.7-liter
* Adds:
* "Optimized" engine calibration – tailored to Scat Package 3
* Mopar performance ported and polished heads
* Mopar hi-flow performance headers
* Scat Package 3 badge

New SRT Viper Images Released And Pricing Announced

The last piece of the puzzle surrounding the 2013 SRT Viper's launch is in place. We finally know how much it'll cost you to have that beauty in your garage. Pricing starts from $97,395 for the standard SRT Viper and the more high tech version, the Viper GTS, will cost $120,395. Power comes from a 8.4-Liter V10 with an output of 640 Hp for both versions.



To celebrate the occasion, SRT released plenty of high res pictures so that we can admire the curvy beast in both yellow and blue.

With its iconic blue livery and its dual white stripes, the Viper GTS is back and it looks absolutely stunning! The 2013 SRT Viper is powered by a naturally aspirated 8.4-liter V10 developing 640 Hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. The Viper GTS features five-spoke polished forged-aluminum wheels that used to give the Viper its unique appearence. The 2013 SRT Viper GTS will be displayed to the public this weekend in Monterey. The 2013 SRT Viper is powered by a naturally aspirated 8.4-liter V10 developping 640 Hp with monstrous torque figure of 600 lb-ft. The third generation Viper is fitted with stability and traction control and also cruise control unlike the first two generations. SRT is also offering a GTS variant which includes some advanced technologies such as the active suspension. More importantly, the new Viper kept its beautiful curvy lines which made it such an iconic modern American muscle car.
