2014 Audi RS5 DTM debuts in Geneva

Last week BMW Motorsport unviled the M4 DTM Race car. This week, Audi unveiled a beautiful naked carbon fiber version of the new RS5 DTM race car at the Geneva motor show. The car features a revised more aggressive aerodynamic package as well as a modified suspension. It will make its racing debut on May 4th. Pick of The Day: HMS Performance AMG SLS RS 735 Roadster

Last week we posted a video of the Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS tuned by HMS Performance and you loved it. So we decided to bring you more from HMS, it's a SLS AMG Roadster with the stage II kit that includes a compressor and a supercharger that boosts the power to 725 (735 PS) Hp and 800 Nm of torque!

According to HMS, the top speed is expected to reach 350 Km/H (217 mph) which pretty scary. More pictures of the beast in the gallery below.

771 hp AMG SLS on The Dyno Sounds Insane! [VIDEO]

The AMG SLS is one of those cars that tuners love to play with. With its naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that produces 563 hp in stock form (583 Hp for the SLS GT), it's a very attractive basis to work on. German tuning company HMS took care of transforming the sexy coupé into a 771 Hp beast. And for the occasion, they also released a video of the dyno test to make us know how ferocious their SLS sounds. And what a sound! You'll love it.

You might also want to check World Motorsport's 850 Hp SLS which might not sound as good but is able to literally shoots flames at people.

DMC Already Working on a Huracan based Model

German tuner DMC, famous for designing outrageous body kits for Lamborghini models, already revealed its intentions of building an ever hotter version of the freshly unveiled Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4. Of course, DMC are no strangers to anticipating things as they revealed months ago that they are working on a LaFerrari FXXR even before the deliveries of the Italian hypercar have started.

Dubbed DMC Huracan "AFFARI", the car features a visible carbon body kit that includes a front splitter, side skirts, a roof scoop, a rear spoiler and possibly a modified rear bumper as well. Expect the model to appear next spring right after the first deliveries of the Huracan.

Manhart BMW MH6 700 Revealed

German tuner Manhart introduced their new tuning package for the BMW F13 M6. The package includes engine upgrades and a carbon fiber body kit.

First up, the styling. The car received a new front splitter, a new vented hood, a new rear diffuser, a trunk lid spoiler and mirror caps, all made from carbon fiber. Now it rides on 21-inch Concave ONE Manhart alloy wheels. To improve the handling, a new bespoke KW suspension kit was installed.

When it comes to performance upgrades, the 4.4-liter V8 originally producing 560 hp now offers 743 Hp and 953 Nm of torque thanks to a modified ECU software, a carbon air intake system, sports catalytic converters and a new exhaust system with four large 100mm pipes. The result is a car that can sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.8 seconds, 0 to 200 Km/h in 10.1 seconds with a top speed of 320 Km/h (200 mph).

B&B Transforms The Polo R WRC into a 362 Hp Fun Machine

German tuning company B&B introduced its tuning package for the already extreme road going version of the Polo R WRC. The package is more performance oriented so there's not much to talk about when it comes to styling updates. On the other hand, engine tweaks include a new bespoke high-pressure fuel pump, a modified air suction system, a custom sports exhaust system, high-performance charging air cooler, a new oil cooling system and engine software update. This series of modifications makes the output jump from 217 hp to 362 Hp and 510 Nm (376 lb ft) of torque!

The result is a car that can sprint from 0 too 100km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds, a full 1.2 seconds quicker than the already stock version. B&B's Polo R WRC also sheds 7 seconds off its 0 to 200 km/h time (0 to 124 mph) since it reaches the magic mark in just 17.1 seconds. When it comes to top speed, the tiny Volkswagen is now able to reach 270 km/h (168 mph)!

The performance upgrade kit is available for 7,950 euros ($10,800) and comes with a series of body enhancements like the coilover kit, sports springs, stabilizers and the high-performance braking system that can be ordered with four or six-piston calipers. Finally the car rides on lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels.

DMC LaFerrari FXXR in The Works

Deliveries of LaFerrari haven't started yet but German tuner DMC is already working on a more extreme model dubbed FXXR.

We have no idea how they are planning to make the most technologically advanced hybrid hyper car better or how they are planning to improve the aero of the car. But DMC say that they have set models like the 250GTO and Enzo FXX as an inspiration.

Looking at what we've already had from DMC, the FXXR promises to be outrageous from a design point of view. But performance wise, will it be faster than LaFerrari on a track?

Mercedes-Benz Records the Best Sales Month in its History.

Mercedes-Benz sold more cars last September than any other month in its whole history. The German automaker sold 142,994 units world wide last month thanks to one of the most complete and most attractive lineups on the market today. While Mercedes-Benz's main market remains Europe, the growing demand in the Asian continent, especially China where 20,375 units were sold, contributed to this huge success.

VIDEO: Novitec Rosso F12 Berlinetta Reaches 340 Km/h on a German Highway

Novitec Rosso's Ferrari F12 Berlinetta achieved the mind blowing speed of 340 Km/h on the German autobahn. As a reminder, Novitec Rosso's F12 Berlinetta packs out 23 Hp more than the original 740 Hp and an extra 13 Nm of torque. First Livery of the BMW M3 DTM unveiled

It's not that easy to make green and blue look together on a race car livery. Of course, the green and blue "psychedelic" livery on the Porsche 917K from 1970 will always be my favourite. But i have to admit that BMW's take on green and blue for its first DTM racer isn't bad either. Unlike the Porsche, the colors on this livery are actually the official colors of the two major sponsors which are Castrol and the ARAL gas stations. The 2012 DTM season kicks off next april. In the meantime, you can check out the official 2012 DTM cars from Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
