Paris 2012: Peugeot Onyx Concept

The french automakers might be in financial touble but that didn't stop Peugeot from introducing the Onyx Concept car at the Paris Motor Show. The Onyx is powered by a mid-mounted 3.7-Liter turbocharged diesel V8 developing 600 Hp and a battery based system similar to F1's KERS dubbed Hybrid4.The system allows the driver to have an additional 80 Hp under acceleration. Paris 2012: Chevrolet Code 130R Concept

The Code 130R concept car is the result of the same research that brought us the Tru 140S Concept. The 130R is also powered by a small turbocharged 1.4-Liter engine producing nearly 150 Hp. At first sight, the concept looks like a small Camaro, especially from the rear. Paris 2012: Peugeot 208 Rally Car

Peugeot introduced the 208 Type 5 rally car to showcase the sporty character of its 208 small hatchback. The new Peugeot 208 RC is powered by a 1.6-liter engine developing 280 Hp. It weights just 1,200 kg and will be able to compete in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC). Unfortunately, no WRC comeback is planned for the French automaker.

Paris 2012: Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

Porsche introduced the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept at the Paris Motor Show to showcase a possible future sports car and we have to admit that it looks much better than the Panamera. The Sport Turismo concept is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 producing 333 Hp and an electric motor producing 95-hp. The car will be able to reach 128 Km/h (80 mph) on electricity alone with a range of for 30 km (18 miles). With the maximum output of 416 Hp, it will be able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6 seconds.
