LaFerrari that could have been...

Here's another LaFerrari prototype that could have become the real deal. This one is codenamed "Tensostruttura".

A total of 9 LaFerrari prototypes were being considered before Ferrari decided to go with a more conventional design featuring headlights similar to those of the 458 Italia and the F12 Berlinetta... Only two out of the nine prototypes were produced on a 1:1 scale. This one, and the "Manta" concept.

Spyker Back in the Game with the B6 Venator Concept

Earlier this month, Spyker unveiled its latest sports car, the B6 Venator, a new sports car that will bring the Dutch car maker back into the supercar game. The new B6 will be powered by V6 engine producing 375 Hp linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. The B6 has one of the most refined interiors that combines high quality material with the beauty of classic dashboards that remind us a little of Pagani interiors, which is a good thing. The Venator will go into production next year with a price tag starting at $125k.

Alfa Romeo 4C Production version Unveiled

Alfa Romeo released new pictures of the production version of the 4C Concept currently displayed at the Geneva Motor Show. The production 4C will be powered by a 1.75-Liter inline four engine producing 240 Hp. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Alfa 4C might be eclipsed in terms of power by half of the cars available at the Geneva Motor Show but the thing is, it weight just 952 Kg (2,100 pounds) thanks to a light weight body and a carbon fiber monocoque. The result is a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.5 seconds and a (limited) top speed of 250 Km/h (155 mph).

Let's go back to the car that is actually displayed in Geneva. It is called the "4C launch edition" and it's pretty similar to the regular version except that it features some visual including a more sophisticated color scheme, full LED headlights and 19 inch allow wheels at the back. The 4C launch edition will be limited to only 1,000 units and will cost nearly €60k. More pictures of the production version in the gallery below.

2013 Audi RS5 DTM Revealed at Geneva

Audi revealed its new RS5 based DTM racer, which looks pretty much like last year's car except for the hugely revised aero package. The RS5 DTM is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 producing 500 Hp. The car will make its race track debut on April 26th at the DTM testing sessions. This year's list of destinations for the Championship in addition to Germany include Austria, Great Britain, Netherlands and Russia.

This year, Audi will have to face last year's new comer BMW, who in their first attempt after 18 years of absense, took the championship from Audi and Mercedes...

Pininfarina Sergio Based on the F458 Italia unveiled at Geneva

LaFerrari isn't the only Ferrari that will catch your attention at the Geneva Motor Show. Pininfarina came up with this gorgeous topless coupe named after the company's former chairman Sergio Pininfarina. The car is based on the F458 Italia which means it is powered by a 4.5-Liter V8 producing 562 Hp. Even better, the Sergio is 150 Kg (330 pounds) lighter than the 458 Italia! That allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.4 seconds and ahcive a top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph).

Hamann Mirr6r unveiled At Geneva

Yesterday, German tuner Hamann introduced its BMW M6 Mirr6r at the Geneva Motor Show. The Mirro6r came to showcase the company's new aero package for the almighty M6. It includes widened fenders and rear wheel arches, a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, a carbon fiber front hood, a rear spoiler and stainless steel exhaust pipes. It rides on huge 21-inch Unique Forged Formula or Edition Race alloy wheels. What a beast! More pictures in the gallery below.

All You Need to Know About LaFerrari

It might be a message from Ferrari telling people who were unhappy with the F150 appellation to go f**k their selves.. So here it is, "LaFerrari", the fastest, most powerful, most advanced road going masterpiece ever made by Ferrari. THE Ferrari represents everything that Ferrari is.

The recently unveiled Lamborghini Veneno might look outrageous from the outside, but its shares its beating heart with the Aventador. But the new LaFerrari, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. While from the outside it might resemble the 458 Italia, inside it hides one of the most technologically advanced power trains ever put on a road car. And what a car, a 949 Hp beast combining 160 Hp of pure electric power with a 6.3-liter V12 producing 789 Hp.

When it comes to performance, the Enzo replacement sheds 5 seconds off its predecessor's time around the Fiorano test track, which is a lot since we are talking about a 2.9 km (1.86 miles) long circuit.

Just like its direct competitor, the McLaren P1, the Maranello engineers didn't focus on top speed in the first place. Instead, they focused their energy on making the new hypercar as aerodynamically efficient as possible. The result is a car that can sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in less than three seconds with the 200 Km/h (124 mph) bar destroyed after just another four seconds. So who cares if the top speed is just 330 Km/h (205 mph) is the car is able to reach 200 Km/h even before you can finish saying that number...

So now the real question is, will it be faster than the McLaren P1?

Lamborghini Veneno Hypercar Leaked ahead of Geneva Debut [UPDATED W/ OFFICIAL PICTURES]

The guys at AutoForum.cz got their hands on what seems to be leaked pictures of the fastest Lamborghini supercar ever made. The car was announced by the Italian supercar maker earlier this month as a special model to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

The Veneno will be powered by a modified version of the Aventador's 6.5-Liter V12 producing 740 Hp. Judging by its price tag of $4.5million, the car will take advantage from the latest composite material technologies used in the Sesto Elemento supercar, which promises an extremely low curb weight and astonishing performance.

The Veneno will be limited to only three units which is a little bit sad... but not for the three lucky people who already bought the ultra exclusive hypercar.

Details are a little scarce at this moment, but you won't have to wait too much since the official unveiling will take place tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show. Stay tuned for more pictures!
