Crazy Ferrari V8 Powered Fiat 500 Project By Lazzarini Design

Dubbed "550 Italia", this little beast will be powered by a detuned version of the 458 Italia's V8 that will produce 542 hp after the treatment. Le Mans: Toyota's Hybrid Racer is Improving, Audi still the Fastest

Make a Virtual Lap (or three) of the Circuit of The Americas

Codemasters has recently released this video from its 2012 Formula 1 game featuring three on board laps of the Circuit of the Americas. The race will take place November 18th in the yet to be completed Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. It will be the first American F1 Gran Prix since the catastrophic race at Indianapolis in 2006 with only 6 cars on the track.

From what we can see in the video, the circuit looks promising for the spectacle. It starts with a blind left corner at the top end of the main straight, then comes a combination of left-right corners that remind us a little bit of Suzuka, then a left hairpin followed by the longest straight of the circuit (main DRS zone?). The circuit also features a quadruple right corner at the end that reminds us the quadruple left from the Turkish F1 circuit.
Alfa Romeo 12C GTS concept by Ugur Sahin

Meet the Alfa Romeo 12C GTS concept from Turkish designer Ugur Sahin. A front-engined supercar powered by a 12-cylinder engine, as its name suggests. Sahin's work is just stunning, besides the gorgeous Alfa Romeo concept he came up with, his 3D modeling and rendering job is just as flawless! It's a shame that such a beautiful creation might never see the light, at least under this form...

Sahin's design includes some very exquisite details like this beautiful air intake above the headlights or the psychedelic lines in the front grille. It also has a hint to future with the solar roof.

More high res renderings in the gallery below and you can see the car in motion in the video after the jump..
