The Aztec Barchetta was introduced by Italdesign back in 1988 at the Torino Motor Show. It features partially transparent doors, futuristic rear quarter panels but perhaps the most interesting feature is the dual dual-cockpit design.

The production version is powered by the five-cylinder engine from the Audi Quattro producing 250 Hp. The body is made from aluminum, kevlar and carbon fiber. Passengers are able to hear each other through an integrated intercom.

The car you see above is actually road legal and at least 15 of them exist. This particular silver model has only done 120 Km (75 miles) and it's now for sale by Specialized Vehicle Solutions, Ltd. Unfortunately, the asking price is not mentioned. More pictures in the gallery below.
