Epic Supercar Meeting at Assen


Nearly all car enthusiasts love racing video games. And one of the main reasons for that is being able to put together on the same track cars that would never meet in real life.

Except that, when you have the money, everything is possible. Thanks to this group of wealthy car enthusiasts,
now we can watch a friendly race between four of the world's finest hypercars: The Koenigsegg Agera R,
The Porsche 918 Spyder, LaFerrari and the McLaren P1. That's exactly what happened at the Assen Circuit last weekend and you can watch the footage after the jump.

Now I'm pretty sure that these nice people know someone with a special edition Pagani Zonda or a Veyron or two in his possession. So this might bring us something even more special.

Inside The Koenigsegg Factory with The One [VIDEO]


After the first very successful series of /INSIDE KOENIGSEGG where Christian Von Koenigsegg himself speaks about the development of the Agera R, /DRIVE comes back with a new exciting series about the world's first "Mega" car, the Koenigsegg:One.

In this first episode, Christian Von Koenigsegg introduces his new masterpiece and talks about the preparations for last month's Geneva Motor Show. Interestingly Christian says that the car did not undergo any track testing yet so maybe we'll get a glimpse of that in the upcoming episodes. He also pointed out that the production model might end up weighting 30 kilograms less than the model displayed at Geneva.

LaMaserati Concept By Mark Hostler

A few month ago, we reported that Maserati could be working on LaFerrari based model that could be named "LaMaserati" as well. The Maserati flagship could use LaFerrari's 800 Hp V12 without the hybrid system for a more organic driving experience. Of course this is all speculation. But knowing that a similar thing happened in the past with the Enzo based Maserati MC12, this could not be madness after all.

Talented designer Mark Hostler, came up with this magnificent design study that he sees as Maserati's next LaFerrari based hypercar. We think that his creation looks absolutely stunning and we are glad to share Mark's amazing work with you.

Vorsteiner Lamborghini LP560 Renazzo


Vorsteiner revealed the updated "Renazzo" package for the retiring Lamborghini Gallardo. The package includes a more pronounced body kit as well as new forged one-piece wheels. The V10 powered Lambo has been fitted with new more aggressive than ever front bumper and the beastly look is completed by the Special Edition Forged VSE-001 one-piece wheels.

Even though the Italian beast looks already very impressive, Vorsteiner say that the Renazzo kit is far from being complete with more aero elements being in the works. So until we see the finished product, here are some stunning shots.

Papaya Orange McLaren P1 spotted in Dubai [VIDEO]


This is not a surprise since we already know that a big number of McLaren P1's are heading up there. But the part we love the most is the Papaya Orange paint job which looks surprisingly good on the British hypercar.

Just in case you forgot, the McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 combined with an electric motor to offer a total output of 903 Hp. Zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) is completed in 2.8 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 6.8 seconds and 0 to 300 km/h is completed in 16.5 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 350 Km/h (217 mph).

DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione GT Previewed


After each tuning package we introduce, we keep wondering how can the Lamborghini Aventador be more extreme? And DMC always comes up with the answer. The German tuner is not done with the Aventador yet. Their next take on the Italian beauty is dubbed Aventador LP988 Edizione GT and it's the closest thing to a race car yet. As the name suggests, the new tuning package package will help the car produce 988 Hp besides featuring one of the most outrageous body kits ever fitted to a Lamborghini Aventador.

What we know for the moment is that the body kit will comprised of 14 carbon fiber elements including a heavily modified Aero Engine Cover Replacement and a Rear Wing Spoiler GT.. More details will be released shortly so stay tuned!

Sin R1 Supercar to be Exhibited in Autosport International Next Month


The Sin R1 is quite a rare combination. It is jointly developed by German and British Engineers and powered by an Amercian V8. The Sin R1 is powered by a GM LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 525 HP mounted to a Graziano manual six-speed gearbox sending power to the rear wheels. Its weight of just 1,200 Kilograms (2645 pounds) helps it produce respectable performance figures: 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 322 Km/h (200 mph).

The car will be displayed at the Autosport Internation show next month along its racing variant so don't miss it!

DMC Already Working on a Huracan based Model


German tuner DMC, famous for designing outrageous body kits for Lamborghini models, already revealed its intentions of building an ever hotter version of the freshly unveiled Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4. Of course, DMC are no strangers to anticipating things as they revealed months ago that they are working on a LaFerrari FXXR even before the deliveries of the Italian hypercar have started.

Dubbed DMC Huracan "AFFARI", the car features a visible carbon body kit that includes a front splitter, side skirts, a roof scoop, a rear spoiler and possibly a modified rear bumper as well. Expect the model to appear next spring right after the first deliveries of the Huracan.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S vs. Jaguar XKR-S GT

Motor trend has decided to put against each other one of our favorite British supercars: the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and the Jaguar XKR-S GT. The result is 19 minutes of pure driving. Here's a quick refresher about both cars.

The Jaguar has a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 producing 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, weights 1850 kg (3,968 pounds), does the 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) sprint in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 300 Km/h (186 mph).

The Aston Martin has a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 producing 565 Hp and 458 pound-feet of torque, weights 1614 Kilograms (3,560 pounds), does the 0 to 100 Km/h sprint (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 329 Km/h (205 mph).

Two unforgettable supercars from the early eighties. The Ferrari 288 GTO and the Porsche 959. Both cars marked their era and both are still amongst the most memorable creations of their brands. Both cars develop a healthy 400+ hp but the similarity between the two stops there. The 288 GTO, big sister of the Ferrari F40, is powered by a 2.8 L twin turbocharged V8 while the Porsche 959 remained faithful to a turbocharged flat six.
