2015 Mazda MX-5 Rendering

2015 Mazda MX-5 rendering by Theophilus Chin

This is what the next generation Mazda MX-5 might look like according to rendering artist Theophilus Chin. The roadster clearly borrows some design cues from the beautiful Shinari concept. And we think it will fine if the upcoming MX-5 roadster will look just like that! Thumbs up for Theophilus and his amazing work. Stay tuned for more updates about Mazda's lightweight roadster.

Lamborghini Showcases The Veneno Roadster's Audio System at CES

With a price tag of $4.5million and only nine units built, you'd expect everything about the Lamborghini Veneno to be special. And it's the case. Lamborghini released these stunning pictures showcasing the Veneno Roadster's audio system developed by Monster Products. Visitors of the CES 2014 in Las Vegas have the chance to see the Italian Beauty and its bespoke audio system in the flesh. For those who can't, you can get a glimpse of the system in the gallery below.

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Shows Up in UAE

A very special presentation for a very special car. This red Lamborghini Veneno Roadster was transported to the UAE in an Italian aircraft carrier to attend a special presentation event in the land of supercars. The result is a set of stunning shots that you can see in the gallery below.

As a refresher, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is powered by a modified version of the Aventador's 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 750 Hp and sends power to all four wheels. This allows the roadster to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 355 Km/h (220 mph) thanks in part to its low weight of 1,490 kg (3,278 pounds). The costs $4.5million (that's $600k more than the more exclusive coupé version) and only nine units will be produced.

BBR Boosts the Fun in The Miata with 268 Hp

British tuner BBR introduced its limited edition turbocharged Mazda MX-5 GT270 with an output of 268 Hp (270PS). This respectable output was achieved by adding a Garett GT25 turbocharger to the 2.0-Liter engine. Other engine tweaks include a remapped ECU, BBR intercooler and custom exhausts. Also part of the package are the launch control, Exedy clutch and an upgraded suspension.

The result is a car that can go from 0 to 96 Km/h (60 mph) in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 241 Km/h (150 mph). The Miata GT270 will be limited to only 100 units with a price of $48,500 (€36,000). More pictures in the gallery below.

CLK-GTR Roadster To Be Auctioned (again)

Another rare gem is going to be auctioned next month. It's the stunning roadster variant of the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR of which only six units were ever built. The road going race car is powered by a 6.9-liter V12 producing 612 Hp and a massive 775 Nm of torque. It weights just 1,440 kilograms and has a top speed of 320 km/h (200 mph). It was, back in 2003, the most expensive production car ever built.

Expect it to sell for at least $1.5 million since this less rare coupé version was already sold for $1.1million one year ago. The car will be auctioned at the Charlotte Convention Center Auction that will take place between October 31st and November 3rd. More pictures in the gallery below.

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Officially Revealed

As expected, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster was officially unveiled shortly after the first leaked photos started circulating the web. Only nine units will be made (that's a little weird since only 3 coupé version plus the original concept were produced...). The price is confirmed at $4.5million (that's $600k more than the more exclusive coupé version, duh...).

Power comes from boosted version of the Aventador's 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 750 Hp and sends power to all four wheels. This allows the roadster to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 355 Km/h (220 mph) thanks in part to its low weight of 1,490 kg (3,278 pounds).

First Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Photos Leaked

We all know that there are only three existing units of the Lamborghini Veneno Coupé in addition to to the original silver concept. Red, White and green, just like the Italian flag. But what about its rumored roadster variant? Well it seems that it's no longer a rumor with the first photos already circulating the web.
