Paris 2012: Hyundai i20 WRC

After announcing its comeback to WRC, Hyundai introduced the i20 WRC rally car at the Paris Motor Show. The i20 race car will be powered by a turbocharged engine delivering nearly 200 Hp. The competition will tough next year at the World Rally Championship since BMW will be competing with its own Mini Countryman WRC car and Volkswagen will be making its comeback too with the Polo R WRC! Huyndai announces its comeback to WRC, Pulls out of motorsports in North America

Hyundai announced its return to WRC after 10 years of absence from the championship. For the same occasion, the Korean automaker announced it withdrawal from all sorts of motorsport in north America where they used to compete mainly in Formula Drift and the Global RallyCross Championship. Its new weapon will be a WRC version of its i20 small hatchback. Like all the WRC machines, the i20 race car will be powered by a turbocharged engine delivering nearly 200 Hp.
