Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.R To Compete in the IMSA Continental Tires SportsCar Challenge


Chevrolet revealed the racing variant of the Camaro Z/28 road car. Dubbed Z/28.R, the car will be entered by Stevenson Motorsports and CKS Autosport in the GS class of the IMSA Continental Tires SportsCar Challenge. It is powered by the same 7.0-liter V8 engine from the road going model but has received specialized suspension components that are needed for endurance racing. As a result, Chevrolet describes its new race cars as the "most production-based competitors on the track".

Watch this Record Breaking 3.6s 1/8 mile Run [VIDEO]


This Camaro dragster belonging to the Q80 Racing Team is powered by a Pro Line Racing 481X engine fitted with two Precision turbochargers. This beast managed to do a quarter mile time of 5.86s but the more impressive part is how it demolishes the first half of the distance (1/8 mile) in just 3.86 seconds at 206.42 mph (332 km/h) which makes it the fastest turbo doorslammer.

2014 COPO Camaro Unveiled at SEMA


This year's SEMA show is definitely one of the best in years. The new COPO Camaro made its debut yesterday in Las Vegas. The 2014 COPO Camaro can be powered by three different engines: a naturally aspirated 427-cubic-inch V8, a 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8 and a 396-cubic-inch (6.5-liter) V8.

Being made for the drag strip, the COPO is compliant with NHRA's Stock Eliminator and Super Stock classes. It comes with a roll cage, solid rear axle and some massive Hoosier drag slicks at the rear.

Only 69 units will be built.

Updated Chevy Camaro for 2014 [Photo gallery]


Chevrolet released some stunning photos of its updated 2014 Camaro lineup. With minor changes both in the aesthetics and the engine department, Chevrolet hopes to extend the Camaro's commercial success for another couple of years. First up, the standard Camaro which is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 producing 323 Hp. Then we have the new Camaro SS convertible which is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 producing 426 Hp. This same engine is also available with the Camaro 1LE trim pictured above. And finally the Camaro Z/28, author of the 7:37 time at the Nürburgring Nordschleife which powred by a 7.0-liter V8 producing 500 Hp.

Chevrolet unveils its Track Focused Camaro Z28 in New York


Chevrolet unveiled the Z/28 track focused version of its Camaro muscle car at the New York Motor Show. Besides featuring some very welcome aesthetic enhancements, the car is now powered by the 7.0-Liter LS7 from the Z06 Corvette producing more than 500 Hp and 640 Nm of torque.

The Z/28 is 45 Kilograms lighter than the already fit Camaro SS. Visual enhancements also include a redesigned front and rear bumber, a new front splitter, a vented front hood as well as new side skirts. More pictures of the beauty in the gallery below.

Widebody Dodge Challenger on F2.05 Forgiato Wheels

1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS by Xtreme Autowerke


Even if the name sounds a bit German, Xtreme Autowerke is actually based in Miami. The tuning company came up with this stunning 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS that rides on SP5-R wheels from Strasse Forged with a 19/20 inch staggered configuration. Unfortunately, there are no details about performance upgrades as the project came to showcase the beautiful set of wheels from Strasse Forged. Pick of the Day: Chevrolet Camaro with "Guyver" widebody kit by Chrome and Carbon


This is what we would call a Camaro on steroids. The Dubai based company Chrome & Carbon came up with this impressive "Guyver" bodykit for the American muscle car and we have to admit that we love the result. Even if it seems more form than function... We have no idea what kind of changes have been made under the bonnet but we hope this Camaro has the power plant that goes with the beastly look. Sareni United Camaro GT



Sareni United is a new company specialized in preparing race cars. I was founded by Hans Reiter, the same man behind Reiter Engineering, the company that prepares very successful Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 Race Cars. Their very first project is this gorgeous silver Camaro GT3 powered by a 7.9-Liter V8 producing 650 Hp. The car is still under testing but the first results are very promising as it is said that it has already matched the Lambo's pace. Expect to see it in the VLN series. The race car has already been homologated by the FIA and its price starts at €195,000.
