Pick of the Day: BMW 1M by Vorsteiner

Beautiful, isn't it? These lovely shots showcase the new body kit from the California based specialist Vorsteiner for the BMW 1M Coupe. It includes a new front splitter, a new rear diffuser as well as a lighter boot lid. The car rides on 20 inch Special Edition Forged Aluminum Multi Spoke Wheels.

Performance upgrades are minor with a new stainless steel exhaust system that allows the car to produce an extra 15 and 5 Nm of torque. More pictures of the beast in the gallery below.

G-Power introduces its V8 Powered BMW 1M Coupe

So what if we took the tiny BMW 1M Coupe and ditched the inline-six engine developing 343 Hp in favor of the 420 Hp V8 from the almighty E92 M3? Ask no more, G-power just did that. They went even further actually, by adding a supercharger to the 4.2-liter V8 that now produces an outrageous 600 Hp! Sounds crazy. But this beast actually exists, and you can see it from every angle in the high res gallery below.

Dubbed, G1 V8 HURRICANE RS, the supercharged 1M Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 330 Km/h! And it can be yours for €141k ($183k).

BMW 1 series M Coupe by Best Cars and Bikes

That thing looks absolutely gorgeous! The BMW 1M Coupe is already a rather distinctive machine. And with less than 1,000 units built for the U.S. market, you won't be seeing it too often. One of my favorite tuned 1M's was the Kelleners KS1-S, until I saw the Best Cars and Bikes version.

BCB's 1M Coupe features 20-inch alloy wheels from Schmidt Revolution and coilover suspension from German specialist KW. Performance upgrades include a Bastuck stainless steel exhaust system and a tweaked ECU software. The 3.0-Liter straight six now develops 419 hp (85 more than the donor car). That would help the beast beat the stock version's acceleration to 100 Km/h of 4.9 seconds.
