Koenigsegg One:1 Revealed Ahead of Geneva Debut

The Koenigsegg One:1 is finally here and it's determined to become the world's fastest road legal car. And looking at the numbers, the Swedish "Mega car" has what it takes and maybe even more. The One:1 is powered by a 5.0-liter aluminum V8 engine producing 1,341 Hp and weights 1,341 Kg (2,956 pounds) which explains the name and which also explains why the 0 to 400 Km/h (248.5 mph) sprint is expected to take just 20 seconds. Top speed is expected to be more than 440 km/h (273 mph).

The car will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month and only six units will be built.

Koenigsegg The One Will Take you To 450 Km/h (and beyond?)

Christian von Koenigsegg announced that his upcoming car dubbed The One will feature a weight to power ratio of exactly One. No cheating on the numbers this time! The One will achieve a full weight, all fluids included (water, oil, fuel, and other fluids) of 1,400 kilograms (3,086 pounds)! That means that if you are really really, really good at calculating, the new hypercar will produce, you guessed it: 1,400 Hp.

Needless to say that such figures will produce unbelievable performance numbers. Numbers that can even put LaFerrari to shame. You've heard it, the One will be able to hit 400 Km/h (248 mph) in 20 seconds! Top speed is expected to exceed 450 Kh/h (280 mph). Only time will tell if those numbers are achievable in real life...
