Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series by Domanig

The Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS Black Series is already a very unique machine. But German tuning firm Domanig is offering the few SLS Black Series owners the chance to stand out even more. Their latest tuning package for the German beast features a new set of bespoke black rims wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires measuring 285/30 ZR20 front and 325/25 ZR21 rear. The car also features a lowered suspension for a more beastly look.

When it comes to power upgrades, Domanig offers a supercharger kit that allows the cars to develop a whopping 800 Hp. More pictures of the beast in the gallery below.

SLS Black Series by AMG Performance Studio

Mercedes-Benz AMG published the first photos of an AMG Performance Studio creation. The car in question is an SLS Black Series and now Mercedes needs your help to find a name for this paintwork. Mercedes-Benz will reveal the their favorite submission as well as more shots later this month.

The yellow paint job clearly reminds us of Electric Drive version except that the SLS AMG Black Series is powered by the same engine from the standard SLS that has been upgraded to produce 622 Hp. It's also 70 Kg (159 pounds) lighter than the standard SLS which means the weight of the car has been lowered to 1550 Kg (3417 pounds). That allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 315 Km/h (196 mph).

More stunning shots after the jump.

VIDEO: AMG SLS Spitting (too much?) Flames on the Dyno

This Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS tuned by World Motorsport ate two turbos for dinner and now it produces 850 Hp and spits flames. We know that during dyno tests the back of the car needs some ballast. But we strongly recommend for the dude in this clip to find a replacement weight!

The car will be receiving a series of styling enhancements including a new carbon fiber front splitter, a massive rear diffuser and a rear spoiler similar to that of the GT3 race car. It's painted in satin black and rides on a set of stunning HRE S107 wheels.

Gulf Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS Spotted

Spotted by Adrian & Benneth

The Gulf and Martini Racing are some of our favourite historic racing liveries. They remind us of our well loved and craziest race cars from Porsche and Ford. So there's no doubt that some hardcore fans keep these liveries alive by applying them to their 'everyday' supercars. We really love this Mercedes-benz AMG in Gulf livery spotted by Adrian & Benneth, but we still think it can't match the awesomeness of this Martini Mustang!

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG MC700 tuned by McChip-DKR

German tuning specialist McChip-DKR introduced its updated package for the SLS AMG dubbed MC700. Performance upgrades include a new Capristo exhaust system, a supercharger kit and a remapped ECU. The 6.2-Liter V8 originally producing 571 Hp now packs out 696 Hp (706 PS) and 791 Nm of torque. Customers will have the choice between a DDC or HLS 4-sports hydraulic suspension provided by KW. When it comes to styling, the matte-black/red vinyl can be applied to the car for €6,000. More pictures of the beast in the gallery below.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Twin-Turbo by World Motorsports

Tuning company World Motorsport recently unveiled their Twin-Turbocharged AMG SLS project. Knowing that the base model's 6.3-Liter V8 already produces an impressive 580 Hp, the tuned model could very well produce over 800 Hp. However, no official numbers have been released yet...

The car features a new carbon fiber front splitter, a massive rear diffuser and a rear spoiler similar to that of the GT3 race car. It's painted in satin black and it rides on HRE S107 wheels.

It would be nice if they had picked a lighter background for us to see the beast more clearly. But you can find more pictures in the gallery below.

VIDEO: Mercedes-Benz's SLS AMG based GT3 racer

SLS AMG GT3

Last month Mercedes-Benz unveiled their newest customer race car version of the SLS AMG. The car is under homologation to compete in the 2011 FIA GT3 championship. It has the same 6.3L V8 from that produces 571 Hp in the road going version. But the engine might be detuned in order to match the FIA's current regulations.

From the exterior, the car remains more or less close to the road going version. The racing aero kit includes a huge front splitter and side winglets as well as a massive rear diffuser and a giant rear spoiler in order to have a low drag coefficient and maximum downforce.

In the interior the modifications include a steel roll-over cage, an F1 style steering wheel and gear change. For a closer look to all of these enhancements check out the official high res image gallery and watch the video below to see the SLS AMG GT3 racer make its first wheel turns.
