Road & Track Editor And Brain Injury Survivor Makes Us Believe in Schumi's Healing

Anne-Marie Kim is the head test driver from Road & Track who has something in common with Michael Schumacher. Back in February 2013, the Road and Track editor fell from a bridge and landed 38 feet below in a rocky stream. Just like Schumacher, he was airlifted to the hospital and had a brain surgery making everyone believe that his chances of surviving were more than weak.

Eleven months later, Anne-Marie Kim is alive and well. And today he decided to share his story with everyone not only to give hope to Schumacher's family, friends and fans, but also to give the proof that a full recovery is something possible for the F1 legend.

It's an interesting read and a very touching story. Head on to Road & Track to read the full article.

VIDEO: Schumi explains The Mercedes W03's Steering Wheel

A Formula One car's steering wheel is the proof of how complex modern F1 cars have become. The "device" its self is a masterpiece of engineering, it allows drivers to adjust or activate all sorts of embedded electronic systems from engine torque differential and the pitlane speed limiter to KERS and even radio communication.. And who else than Michael schumacher can explain to us how the F1 steering wheel works? (except the people who designed it, the people who tested it and every other driver who speaks english on the grid, but you see the point right?..)

Mercedes AMG W03 revealed

Yesterday, the Mercedes AMG F1 team revealed its 2012 competitor, code named W03. The team chose not to reveal its car in the Jerez test session like all the other teams did earlier this month. Ross Brawn said that this two-week delay allowed the team to have more time to focus on the car's development. After the first shakedown in Silverstone, the team seems pretty confident about the new car's performance. Could this be the car that will allow Shcumi to win again and bring Nico Rosberg his first win?

VIDEO: 2012 Mercedes-Benz DTM Racer revealed

Yesterday, Michael Schumacher and Nico Roseberg took wraps off Mercedes' new DTM machine at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new racer packs out 500 Hp coming from a naturally aspirated 4.0-Liter AMG V8 unit. It has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and has a total weight of 1043 Kg (2300 pounds). Competition will be ferocious as the new C class coupe based DTM racer will compete against Audi and BMW which are also entering the series with two brand new racers based on production coupes: The Audi A5 and the BMW M3. And let's not forget that BMW is coming back to the series after an 18 year absence.

VIDEO: Ten fastest supercars round the Top Gear track

[spoiler alert!]

This video features the ten fastest lap times round the Top Gear test track until season 13! So if you still didn't watch the series that far, maybe you would like to wait until you'll be able watch the whole series. And maybe you shouldn't read the whole post either...

Otherwise, enjoy!

For those who aren't familiar with the corners' names here's a little reminder:

The video also includes the Ferrari FXX lap time which has been removed by Jeremy Clarkson for obvious reasons (slicks, not road legal..) but it's still worth the watch, what a noise!
