It was unveiled at last year's SEMA Show and we're happy it came back this year. The Mustang Mach 40 by Oregon based Eckert’s Rod Shop is powered by a supercharged version of the 5.4-liter V8 coming from the GT40 that now produces 850 Hp. This particular shot was taken at The Optima Street Car Challenge event by Larry Chen for the Speedhunters and we think it deserves to be the picture of the day.

Vaughan Gittin Jr.'s new Mustang RTR

Vaughan Gittin Jr. unveiled his new Mustang drift car. It features a livery similar to that of Ken Block's Fiesta though the two cars belong to different teams. VGJR's 2014 Mustang RTR produces 875 Hp and weights just 1315 Kilograms (2900 pounds). If you would like to see this baby in action, the first round of the Formula drift championship will take place at Long Beach, California on April 12th. The model you see above is equipped with Forgiato's Disegno F2.05 wheels and features the matching grille with the Forgiato logo. The wide bodykit makes the car the perfect to complete our collection of wide body muscle cars equipped with Forgiato Wheels including the Ford Mustang GT and the amazing Chevrolet Camaro with the De Falco front grille.

1969 Mustang Producing 850 Hp heading to SEMA

At this year's SEMA Show, a custom Ford Mustang Mach 1 brought to you by Oregon based Eckert’s Rod Shop. This 'Stang is powered by a supercharged version of the 5.4-liter V8 coming from the GT40 that now produces a whopping 850 Hp. As you can see, the body of the original donor car has been heavily modified both from the interior and the exterior. Stay tuned for more information about this crazy project.
