EVO pits the 599 GTO against the F12 Berlinetta (sort of)

Yes, another F12 Berlinetta review... But this one is quite interesting because it puts it against the latest greatest thing from Ferrari: the 599 GTO. Compared to the 599GTB Fiorano and its 620 Hp V12, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta belongs to another planet. With 730 Hp coming out of its V12 heart, it simply has the most powerful V12 that ever equipped a road going Ferrari. So if there's a Ferrari model that can compete with the beast, it must be the 599 GTO. With 661 Hp, it still produces 69 ponies less than the Berlinetta, but the 599 GTO is a technological masterpiece that is meant to be a track beast for the road. Besides, it has one of the fastest gearboxes that have ever been fitted in a road going Ferrari model, coming straight from its F1 car. Let's see what the EVO guys think of the prancing horse duo...

EVO pits Two of Your Favourite Supercars From the '80 against Each Other: Porsche 959 VS Ferrari 288 GTO

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Two unforgettable supercars from the early eighties. The Ferrari 288 GTO and the Porsche 959. Both cars marked their era and both are still amongst the most memorable creations of their brands. Both cars develop a healthy 400+ hp but the similarity between the two stops there. The 288 GTO, big sister of the Ferrari F40, is powered by a 2.8 L twin turbocharged V8 while the Porsche 959 remained faithful to a turbocharged flat six. There's a lot to say about these two.. but fro now i'm going to let EVO's Chris Harris do the rest of the talking for you. Enjoy this fantastic battle between two of Europe's greatest muscle cars.
