Pick of the Day: BMW 1M by Vorsteiner

Beautiful, isn't it? These lovely shots showcase the new body kit from the California based specialist Vorsteiner for the BMW 1M Coupe. It includes a new front splitter, a new rear diffuser as well as a lighter boot lid. The car rides on 20 inch Special Edition Forged Aluminum Multi Spoke Wheels.

Performance upgrades are minor with a new stainless steel exhaust system that allows the car to produce an extra 15 and 5 Nm of torque. More pictures of the beast in the gallery below.

BMW F10 M5 with Velos Designwerks Solo V Wheels

Velos Designwerks revealed their new wheels for the BMW F10 M5. Dubbed Solo V Wheels, they are available in 19 to 22 inches. The model pictured above rides on 21×11″ for the rear and 21×9.5″ front. Just like the 6 series on Velos Solo X wheels that we featured previously, the M5 you see above has some visual enhancements including a lowered suspension, blackened grille and carbon fiber side mirrors. Our pick of the day is a supercharged BMW E36 M3 photographed by Jonathan Ray. This particularly gorgeous blue M3 is equipped with a RMS stage 2 Vortech Supercharger as well as some other tweaks. The aesthetic modifications are minor but done with taste.. Add to that some serious photographing skills and you have some of the most beautiful shots of a BMW M3.

Vorsteiner Previews its Body Kit for the BMW F12 M6

German tuner Vorsteiner released two renderings of its styling package for the BMW F12 M6. From what we can see on these shots, the bodykit includes a front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear lip spoiler, all made from carbon fiber. The styling package also includes a new sports exhaust system. The BMW F12 M6 is powered by a bi-turbo 4.4-Liter V8 producing 560 Hp. Stay tuned for more information.

BMW Z4 GTE to Race in ALMS in 2013 (UPDATED)

BMW unleashed its new Z4 GTE race car for the 2013 season. The Z4 GTE will be competing in the 2013 ALMS championship as a replacement for the successful BMW M3 GT. The Z4 GTE is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 developping 480 Hp and 480 Nm of torque. The car weights 1,245 Kg and has a fuel tank with a capacity of 110 liters.

Picking up your favorite M5 has always been a long debate between car enthusiasts. Of course every new M5 is faster and carries more technology.
