Toyota DragQuoia: A Sequoia based Family Dragster

The DragQuoia is a "family" dragster based on the Toyota Sequoia model. This dragster is powered by a supercharged Toyota V8 developing 650 Hp prepared by the Japanese automaker's in house tuner TRD. Interestingly, the family dragster kept a rather conventional looking interior. The DragQuoia took part at the 2012 SEMA Show in a competition against NASCAR driver Kyle Busch's "Rowdy" edition Camry, Clint Bowyer's Tekked-Out Prius and NHRA Funny Car driver Alexis DeJoria's Tundra pickup truck converted into a beastly desert pre-runner. The winning driver's charity of choice will receive a $50k check from Toyota. More pictuers of the beast in the gallery below.

Three Scion FR-S Projects will be Head to Head at the SEMA Show

Scion will be bringing three different tuned versions of its FR-S sports Coupe to the 2012 SEMA Show. The idea is simple, Scion picked three different tuners, provided each one with a brand new FR-S and $15k. The three models that you can see in the gallery below will go head to head in the design competition in which the winner will take home a $10,000 prize.

But being part of the design competition doesn't mean the absence of performance upgrades but they remain minimalistic since the main focus stays on design. The aesthetic changes are pretty dramatic on Daniel Song's FR-S GT which looks more like a race ready version of the sports coupe. The two other version are the
"Carbon Stealth FR-S" prepared by John Toca (Chicago) and the "Minty FReSh" by Chris Basselgia (Lebanon).

You can watch each of the competitors speak about his car in the three videos after the jump. But before that, tell us which one do you prefer?

Royal Muffler introduced its CLS63 AMG based project for the 2012 SEMA Show. The California based tuning house equipped the four-door coupe with a WALD Black Bison body kit and a set of 20 inch Forgiato wheels. The angular shapes on the front bumper gave the car a pretty aggressive looking front fascia. The car is painted in black and wrapped in satin orange. More high res pictures in the gallery below.
