The successful British supercar maker reportedly won't confirm the 7:04 time of its newest P1 hybrid hypercar around the Nürburgring. The Woking based firm that once built the record breaking McLaren F1 does not seem to be satisfied by a lap time that is not sub 7 minutes which was their initial target.

We already know that Porsche achieved an unofficial time of 7:14 with their 918 Spyder, but we know it's not Porsche that worries McLaren at the moment... It's Ferrari with their LaFerrari. And knowing that McLaren is already suffering in F1 this season, being beaten by Ferrari both on the road and on the race track won't do them good publicity..
