If you grew up with LEGO Technic like me, you're probably stunned by the awesomeness of this Porsche 917K made out of LEGO Technic bricks. Technically, it's not as advanced as the famous LEGO supercar no. 8880 set but it does have a functional flat twelve engine, just like the real deal and it does have a 3 speed geabox, functional steering as well as independent suspension! Of course this is Ming Thein's individual work so it's not available as an official LEGO Technic set.
