Gillet is a Belgian sports car maker commited to making lightweight supercars. With a carbone-nomex chassis that weights only 58kg (127 pounds), the new Vertigo .5 Spirit has a total weight of only 990kg (2182 pounds). A figure rarely achieved by supercar makers today. To propel the lightweight body, Gillet switched to Maserati power with a new 4.2L V8 producing 420 Hp with the possibility of upgrading the engine as an option.
