RSI's 1,500 Hp Viper Receives New HRE Wheels

Remember RSI's 1,500 Hp Viper that you loved so much? Well it just got better now that HRE Wheels has introduced the new HRE P106 wheels made specifically for the 2013 SRT Viper. Besides its new shoes, the car also gained a new front splitter and a rear bootlid, both made from carbon fiber.

"Competition Blue" Chosen as The SRT Viper's New Color Name

Last month, Chrysler has launched a contest that allows the fans to pick the name the new shade of blue color for the 2014 SRT Viper. The name of the winner as well the name of the new color have finally been announced. And now, you have in front for you the 2014 SRT Viper in "Competition Blue"!

The lucky winner's name is Patryk Sharzynski from Chicago who will have the chance to spend the 2014 Rolex 24 Hours race with SRT design team at the Daytona Circuit. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Pick of the Day: SRT Viper On HRE Wheels

Last week we posted pictures of the first twin-turbo SRT Viper with 1,500 hp and the readers simply loved it. This week we wanted to post something "more conventional", so we found this.

The SRT Viper is such a beautiful machine, and with its 640 HP 8.4-liter V10, it makes an awesome sound besides being fast as hell. Even though the sales numbers are not at their best, it remains a very desirable car that every gearhead wants to own.

So what if we took that gorgeous Viper and ditched the original wheels for a set of Brushed Clear HRE P44SC measuring 21 inches? The result is truly amazing. You can see it by your self in the gallery below.

World's First Twin-Turbo SRT Viper Produces 1,500 Hp

Prepared by RSI Racing Solutions, the new SRT Viper's V10 can be fitted with two turbochargers that will make the output jump to a whopping 1,500 Hp. Owners of the SRT Viper can spend $90k to transform their beautiful coupe into a straight line monster or spend half as much for the 1,100 Hp package.

Only Six SRT Vipers to be Produced per Day Due to Low Demand...

The SRT Viper is gorgeous, fast, makes a good noise but no body wants to buy it. So far, the production of the 2014 SRT Viper was running at a daily rate of nine units. Unfortunately, due to low demand, the production will be decreased to 6 units per day. I don't think the Viper has anything to do with this. It's everything the fans wanted it to be. But the future doesn't look bright for our well loved V10 powered American sports car. Sad.

New SRT Viper Images Released And Pricing Announced

The last piece of the puzzle surrounding the 2013 SRT Viper's launch is in place. We finally know how much it'll cost you to have that beauty in your garage. Pricing starts from $97,395 for the standard SRT Viper and the more high tech version, the Viper GTS, will cost $120,395. Power comes from a 8.4-Liter V10 with an output of 640 Hp for both versions.



To celebrate the occasion, SRT released plenty of high res pictures so that we can admire the curvy beast in both yellow and blue.
